The Association of Physicians of Bangladesh (APB) was founded about two decades ago including Internal Medicine and allied specialists of Medical Science like Cardiology, Nephrology, pulmonologists, dermatologists, hematologists, Psychiatrists, and Pediatricians. APB began its journey in 1989. Science inception, APB has been organizing educational conferences and Scientific Seminars to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional performance of Physicians to serve patients, teach students, and competently uphold medical professionals. APB has been organizing Workshop & CME for several years. APB is also a member of the United Forum Against Tobacco (UFAT).

This association is run by its constitution. APB has a constitution of its own. It has an executive committee (E.C.) of 20 members. The members are working hard to make this association a successful one. It also has 519 (to date) life members, which is increasing day by day. As a developing country, Bangladesh has developed remarkably in the health sector, and APB makes a large contribution to that.
